Honoring my ancestors, I create unique ceremonies with an American Indian flavor. The Earth Way Ceremony begins with my drumming the loving couple to the ceremony area, followed by an honor song for the sacred directions, smudging with the smoke of sage, and offerings of tobacco and corn. Smudging is extended to the guests too if a small group. These ceremonies (be it wedding, commitment, or vow renewal) are very simple, so no rehearsals are needed.
All ceremonies are written specifically for each couple, being sensitive to what is important to you, seamlessly blending your vows and suggestions with the gentle Earth Way offerings mentioned above.

Seeking a Medicine Wheel-Circle of Life ceremony? This beautiful ceremony is done in sacred space in a contemporary Hogan. Weather permitting, the ceremony begins outside where the couple acknowledges certain agreements before entering. Once inside, an invocation which honors our ancestors in the north begins the ceremony, with the couple being led by the officiant through the sacred directions where specific teachings, pledges and offerings of tobacco and corn are done. A unity candle is shared following the vows. After pronouncement, the couple exits the lodge to be welcomed by their ancestors, Mother Earth, and friends who may be attending. This is a simple ceremony with no rehearsal required. (Maximum occupancy is the couple plus 6 guests)
Earth Walk Medicine Hogan is located in a rural area on the beautiful Hondo Mesa twenty minutes north of Taos. With views of the Rio Grandé Gorge cliffs, the Sangré de Cristo mountain range, and infinite landscapes of sage and piñon in between, this is a place where sunrises and sunsets are savory to the eyes, and double rainbows envelope us with their grander. Here, Horse People talk and play, Crow People sing and dance, and the Plant People find ease in the purity of existence. Cradled by Father Sky and Mother Earth, you can feel the spiritual connection welcoming you as you arrive.
